An Unforgetable Journey Though Rwanda Traveling in February 2026, our experience in Rwanda was extraordinary, thanks entirely to our guide and driver. From the moment Anna and Gerard greeted us at the airport, we knew we were in the best hands. EAST handled every detail with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care, allowing us to simply enjoy the beauty and culture of this remarkable country. EAST organized two unforgettable gorilla treks and one golden monkey trek in the Volcanoes National Park. EAST's knowledge of the parks, procedures, wildlife, and local conservation efforts added to our experience. Our time in Akagera National Park was equally impressive. EAST arranged two game drives, where we saw a variety of wildlife and learned so much about the park’s history, restoration and ecology. Gerard's sharp eye identified lots of wildlife and his expertise made the experience both exciting and educational. Beyond the parks, Anna took us to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and helped us understand this difficult chapter in Rwanda's history. Gerard also took us to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Center, and a local cultural center, each visit thoughtfully planned and deeply impactful. EAST seamlessly managed all hotels and meals throughout the trip. Every accommodation was excellent, every meal delicious, and every transition effortless. We never had to worry about a thing. This was more than a tour—it was a beautifully curated journey led by people who clearly love their country and take immense pride in sharing it with others. I cannot recommend EAST highly enough. Best honeymoon experience - will rebook Summary: Perfect experience with excellent value for price (we did 2 days gorillas, 1 day golden monkey) Top strengths: 1) Fast and responsive team: Texted about flight changes and changes in transfer requests and they responded almost immediately. 2) Flexible: adjusts quickly based on preferences for activities changing - gorilla treks are more tiring than you’d expect and we changed our itinerary after the tiring activity 3) top-tier hospitality: they made sure the hotel catered to all of requests, and they organized a special event for us given it was our honeymoon. Booking with them is personal, and not just a transactional experience. Highly recommend. Even better if you get to interact with Anna and Bora in planning and Gerrard as a driver.

Unforgettable Akagera Safari with East Africa Safari Tours and Gerrard Our Akagera safari was truly unforgettable! Volcanoes National Park Adventure My visit to Volcanoes National Park was perfectly organized by East Africa Safari Tours. The driver who took us there was punctual, professional, and full of knowledge. He explained the history of the park, the volcanic formations, and even the local communities living nearby. His insights added so much depth to the journey before we even began the hike.

Fantastic and efficient one day tour The communication when booking the tour was great. They even sent me a reminder the night before so I wouldn't forget the 3am start time. Gerrard my tour guide was super helpful and kind. Would recommend Mgahinga over Bwindi as the trek tends to be shorter and less tiring. Also closer to the Rwanda border if you're driving over from Kigali for a day like I did. Recommendation to future tourists would be to take plenty of money for tips (although they are optional) for the trackers, rangers, the porters, the guide once you get to the national park and your tour operator guide/driver. Overall a memorable day and we were able to get very close to the gorillas which I wasn't expecting!

Fun time in Akageera East Africa Safari Tours arranged our Akageera visit including transport to and from Kigali and hotel stay near Akageera. The driver Jared also was the tour guide at the Akageera park and helped us see a lot of animals there. We had a fun time for a good price. I was there with my wife and 4 year old daughter and they had a great time
